Such a cute location. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! We used to drive all the way to Midvale for KBBQ but Ombu has way better service and quality of meat/food. We ordered so much but the stand outs were the bulgogi, calamari, and kimchi stew. If you order rice, consider sharing as the proportions are large and we didn’t know. We will definitely be back. This is a gem in Layton that I hope stays around for a long long time! :)
Went here with a group from work for a retirement lunch. I loved it. The food was good and once we figured out how to keep the food coming we were all happy. I liked the atmosphere and had a good time at some good Korean BBQ. It's nice to have one here in the area.
My Wife and I love Ombu! We first went to their Salt Lake location early last year. Since then (and since these photos) they have introduced iPads for you to view the menu and place orders. The food is delicious and there are many options to choose from. It’s a great place to bring friends or family fun interactive dinner. We have been back many times and enjoy it every time we do. The service is generally good, sometimes they are understaffed and food takes longer to come out, but they are generally quick bringing out your first order. I highly recommend giving them a try.

This place was amazing! We got there at a very late lunch so it was quiet and relaxing. The food was amazing! We had a little bit of everything and it was all good. Fantastic customer service as well. Usually had to drive to Vegas or Canada for Korean BBQ and this was me and my family's first time here, definitely coming back!
This place is an absolute gem. Everything was great from the beef to the chicken. It was about 75$ but we got 2 deserts and a drink, and went on a Saturday so it was dinner price only @26$ per person. So the amount and quality of food we got in my opinion fantastic!

This place is amazing! Came here two times and was impressed both times. The first time came and it was slow the second time it was packed but the service was the same quality. Staff is very friendly and food/ drink came out quick. Staff works well as a team. The restaurant seemed pretty cleaned even though there is a lot going on from everyone cooking their food and all the things being delivered to us. The food taste amazing!!! I love that it is all you can eat appetizers and entrees with the option to have a cooked Korean meal instead. Such a fun experience to cook yourself and order whatever you want off the tablet. The ambience is comfortable. It has a very simple design but I like how it makes each table feel comfortable while maximizing their space. For two after tip we paid $67 to dine here. Worth every dollar! Will definitely come back again!!
I went to Ombu for the first time for my birthday. The meal was so amazing!!! We didn’t really know what to do but the staff was great and helped us out. This is a fun dining experience being able to cook your own food is so fun. I loved ordering on an iPad and our food came out quick. They made it extra special with a big lighted sign and an Oreo cheesecake with a candle. It was a little bit pricey but so worth it. You definitely need to pace yourself. I tried kimchi for the first time and it was yummy.
